Prior to 2020, AST-US Surface Treatment (RMF) was operating out of 3 locations in the Upstate of South Carolina, each within 10 miles of each other.
Post-pandemic, we started our “Right-sizing” initiative with the objective of consolidating all of our operations onto one location, our new 37 acre corporate campus located in Piedmont, South Carolina.
In 2021, we successfully transferred all work from our Conestee location onto our Piedmont campus.
In 2025, we successfully transferred all work from our McDougall Court location onto our Piedmont campus.
As a result, as of January 1, 2026, Aalberts Surface Technologies – US Surface Treatment has been operating out of one location on a 37 acre campus in Piedmont South Carolina. This campus is currently 50% developed with 2 buildings and 180,000 square feet under roof. This new corporate campus will allow us to expand to 500,000 square feet when completely built out.
